Can Talented Youth Soccer Players Who Have Undergone Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Reach the Elite Level? This research article, from the  American Journal of Sports Medicine , investigates whether ACL reconstructive surgery on talented youth soccer players has affected their ability to progress to elite level sports.
